In September 1981, I was transferred to Curepe Fatima RC School (CFRC). I was asked to teach a Standard V class (Common Entrance). On that first day, it was a pleasure to meet teachers who were also posted there (six of us for the first time). I also saw some of my old friends who were already there.
The school was an old building (opened in 1953) with well-behaved children and very co-operative teachers. The PTA was very active and assisted with many fundraising functions. The ancillary staff were well organised, keeping the school clean and tidy.
