SVP donates tablets to students

DOMINICA

Since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic during the first quarter of 2020, and virtual learning became the norm, the opportunity arose to source devices for the less fortunate students to ensure that they would not be at a disadvantage.

Consequently, a request was submitted to the International Aid and Development Commission (CIAD) based in Paris to provide needy students within the communities of the Fatima Parish with an opportunity to participate in educational classes held online. Approval was received from CIAD and an amount of EUR $2,987.45 was received.
