Trinity’s virtual telethon beginning 2–6 p.m. Sunday, August 16 is promising an incredible line-up of artistic talent to entertain viewers and thank them for their ongoing support through the years.
Over the past 16 years, Trinity TV’s telethon was centred on celebrating the unique creative talents of local artistes and their ability to use music in their ministry. It also serves the purpose as a fundraiser, providing an opportunity for audiences to show their support to the Trinity Communications Network (TCN) by pledging donations.
This year’s event tagline ‘Even social distance won’t keep us apart’ will continue for the week, ending Friday, August 21.
Trinity Tv’s Lisa Bhajan outlined a few performers who will be providing diverse entertainment during the telethon. These performers, she told Catholic News have contributed their talent either by sending clips or coming into Trinity Tv’s studio to pre-tape.
The line-up includes: Wendy Sheppard, Wendell Constantine, Johanna and Johann Chuckaree, Stefan Roach, The Cascade Festival Ballet, Sandra Hamilton and many more surprises.
Many young artistes and even families giving of their own time and talent will participate virtually.
