The parish of Gran Couva/Tabaquite held its annual Christmas dinner on Sunday, December 9 at the Brasso RC school compound, which created the perfect ambiance with its abundance of flora.
Parishioners came out in their numbers from all six communities. The evening began with a Para-liturgy which invited parishioners to bring light, creating a path from,‘the Bible’ to ‘the crèche’. That was followed by a special presentation to two parishioners for their dedication and commitment in serving the parish.
Parishioners were treated to a delicious dinner prepared by Jendex Catering. There was live parang by Los Parranderos Trinitarios and a perfect rendition of Scrunter’s ‘Indian Family’ by Leon Ramlogan. Signature sounds provided the music for dining and dancing. We thank everyone who assisted in making this event a huge success. – Anthony Navarro
