SVP Workshop

Some participants of the “Mathematics of Anger and Change” workshop April 16–20 display their certificates after the closing ceremony. It was the latest workshop hosted at the Centre for Socially Displaced Persons (CSDP), NIPDEC carpark, Port of Spain, aimed at personal development; 24 clients of CSDP and two from Rebirth House took part.

Among those attending the closing ceremony were (back row, second from right) Cindyann Currency, Operations Manager, Digicel Foundation which assisted with sponsorship; (back row, fifth from right) Ann -Marie Quammie Alleyne, Ministry of Social Development NGO Unit; (back row, fourth from right) Centre Manager, Roger Watson and (back row, sixth from right) Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) President Rudolph Boneo.

Boneo said the workshop represented an important aspect of the SVP’s work—helping persons “broken by circumstances” to be whole, strengthened and integrated into society.
