Baptism, First Communion in Hardbargain

Group photo of communicants with Fr Santhosh and catechists.

Seventeen children made their First Holy Communion at St Paul’s RC Church, Hardbargain recently. Three candidates from the St Paul’s RC Primary were first baptised. They were later joined by nine other pupils of the school, and five children from the Holy Cross Parish, Princes Town for the first communion. Parish priest Fr Santhosh Puliyammakkal MSFS told the communicants that Christ now lives in them, and as such they must behave in a way that reflects Christ. He also reminded parents that they too must do their part to ensure their environment mirrors the same. – Anne Paula Redhead
