Dominica priest to celebrate Masses

Fr Brancker John

Fr Brancker John, parish priest of St Patrick Parish, Grand Bay, Dominica, will celebrate two Masses in Trinidad next Sunday (January 28) in thanksgiving for the enormous contribution and kind assistance provided by the people of Trinidad and Tobago to the people of Dominica following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria.

The first Mass will be celebrated at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, Harris Promenade, San Fernando at 10 a.m. The second will be at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Port of Spain at 6 p.m. All are invited.

Prior to last September 18 when Maria hit, Fr John disseminated daily a devotional via WhatsApp. A group called ‘Prayer Group Morning Devotions Fr Brancker John Dominica’ recently raised TT$45,721 and EC$50 specifically to assist Fr John and his parish in repairs.
