Yes folks, you can now find Generation S on Instagram at the handle ‘Generationservice’. In our efforts to meet young people in an ever-changing technological arena, Generation S has evolved from our popping Facebook page to an Instagram page.
On our Instagram page, you can expect to see a lot more pictures and a lot less words! Keep up to date with events, activities and of course vocations to the priesthood, religious and consecrated life.
The Generation S branding campaign is being used to encourage the parishes/archdiocese/nation in talking and thinking vocations. In other words, because we live in an image-conscious world, we are using the Generation S theme and its logo to stimulate vocation awareness and conversation.
Instagram will give us an opportunity to interact and connect with a vast number of young adults and youths who might be in the process of discerning or even considering vocations. It allows us to expand our reach and make even more an impact on the young people of today.
There are approximately 800 million people on Instagram and profiles are being created by the second. Imagine, the impact we could make if we are able to reach even a ¼ of that number? Get ready!
