Members of the Evangel Club from St Dominic’s RC Primary, Penal visit one of the booths

The second annual Jesus-centred Evangel Encounter was held on Sunday November 12 at Presentation College, San Fernando.  Hundreds of children and youth, members of Evangel clubs and some Confirmation candidates participated in a programme that opened with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, by pannist Emmanuel Joseph of Arima. He inspired the youths with other musical pieces during the day.

The youth were led in lively praise and worship by Judith Booker and the St Anthony’s RC, Point Fortin young adult choir during the morning prayer. The morning prayer was led by a Hardbargain representative, and Kirrena Hills and Terrell Sucre from Vessigny Government Secondary.

The Evangel Club of St Dominic’s RC Primary, Penal did inspiring movements and prayer in honour of our Lady of Fatima. Marlene Emanis, Colleen Guevaro and Charlene Mohammed, leaders of the Evangel Ministry, guided and encouraged the youth.
